Daiwa Roynet Hotel Aomori

Simple room in Aomori, but very close to great restaurants and near the train station. Breakfasts were delicious! Clean rooms, also connected to a Lawsons which was convenient. Staff were great as well, this is a good hotel to experience Aomori and get to the station easily.

This is Daiwa Roynet, one can expect great facilities. The bathroom has two sections and the bath section has above average sized bathtub. The amenities are plentiful, and of course we get drip coffee in two flavors. The staff are always accommodating, helpful, and friendly. They are attentive to your needs.

i liked that there was a kombini at the bottom of the hotel building. The rooms were comfortable and cosy.

I do not like when the check in is first done at the counter and then need to go and pay at a machine

Located right on Shinmachi shopping street and a medium walk from Aomori station. It being right on the shopping street means there's plenty of places to eat nearby. The room is slightly bigger than normal business hotel rooms and the shower and tub are quite nice.

The lobby is on the second floor and all elevators are forced to stop there regardless of if anyone wants to get on / off there.

As our rental car is a Alphard, it was too big to be parked in the hotel car park. So we had to park in the public parking lot. There is a Lawson right next to the hotel which is helpful.

Nothing much to complain. But it can be better if they have more washing/dryer machines. The mattress was not very comfortable as it is a bit on the hard side.

The bed was comfortable. I was on the end of a hallway so it was also pretty quiet. There was a convenience store at the ground floor and a restaurant which gave plenty of options for those who were hungry.

The hotel is located in a great spot for getting to restaurants around the city, and is close to both the train station and the water. The staff were all incredibly kind and helpful, and the room was quite spacious and clean. I arrived before my check-in time and the hotel staff kindly stored my luggage for me while I explored the city until it was check-in time. I rented a car while in Aomori City to take day trips on certain days, and found the hotel to be located close to many different affordable parking options.

The bed was a bit worn and unsupportive to my back, but was not so bad that I wasn't able to sleep and find comfort eventually.

They have very clean and well appointed rooms. They don’t have an onsen, but they have a great tub and they provide all the things needed for a good relaxing soak. ☺️ The hotel feels very new! Try their hair oils and toiletries, they are the best!

Room was very spacious for the cost. The location was very close to the train station and also other restaurants. The hotel also offered skin care products for free! Shower a large rainfall shower and even included a bath tub.

Nothing of note. Window view could have been better but it's very minor.

The location is fantastic for the city itself, centrally located and very walkable to most of the top sites in Aomori. We have been in Daiwa Roynets before and this was consistently great.

It was a bit far from the train station and there is no on-site parking so you're limited to a taxi, which is just something to account for.

Strange check-in and check-out procedure, in that after you talked to a person at the reception, you then have to go across the room to a machine to finish up. But I suppose if that's the biggest issue (which to me it was) then the hotel is actually doing well.

The property was very clean and the bathroom is great.

The beds are terrible. Way too hard.

On a 14 day trip, I have spent 6 nights in Daiwa Roynet properties in Himeji, Kanazawa, and Aomori. They are all conveniently located near the station (walkable with bags), have coin laundry available and have large walk in shower/bath combination. The staff are helpful for any problem you might have. Very professionally run chain with high standards.

Great location within the shopping street and 5 minutes away from the station and other tourist attractions

The location was really good and convenient. You have just walked around 3-5 min from Aomori station. Also, it was near to ASPAM and opposite with the department store; Sakurano. The 24-h convenient store; Lawson, also at 1F of hotel building. The room was really clean. The facilities were new and modern. The room was wide and the bed was really comfort. The best thing goes to the breakfast which is variety and really tasty. All is perfect!

Could hear someone snoring through the walls, too thin. Bathroom glass was dirty. TV remote did not work well.
